Privacy Policy

This is the privacy policy for mainstreetowners.com, run by Main Street Owners. The short version: the only information collected here is what you choose to send, it's used to reply to you and work with you, and it is never sold or rented to anyone.

What we collect

When you submit the call request form, you send your name, email address, a description of your business, how long you have owned it, what worries you about stepping away from the business, your revenue range, and your availability. When you request the Revenue Trend Test, you send your email address. If you email us directly, we receive whatever you include. Browsing the site itself requires no account and sets no cookies of ours; we don't run analytics or advertising trackers.

How it's used

Form submissions and emails are used to do the thing you asked: reply to your call request, send you the tool, and carry on the conversation. If you request the Revenue Trend Test, we may occasionally send you related material for owners of Main Street businesses; every such email includes a way to say stop, and stop means stop.

Who handles the data along the way

A few service providers process this information so the site works: Netlify hosts the site and keeps standard server logs; FormSubmit relays form submissions to our inbox; Google Workspace is our email provider, so messages to and from hello@mainstreetowners.com live there; and Google Fonts serves the site's typefaces, which means your browser requests font files from Google when the page loads. Each of these handles data under its own privacy policy. Nobody's information is sold, rented, or shared for marketing.

What clients share in an engagement

Work inside a consulting engagement — financials, operations, anything about how your business actually runs — is governed by the engagement agreement between us, including its confidentiality terms, not by this website policy. What you share about your business stays between us.

Keeping and deleting

Correspondence is kept as long as it's useful for working together or required for ordinary business records. If you want to know what we hold about you, want it corrected, or want it deleted, email hello@mainstreetowners.com and it will be handled personally, usually within a few business days.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
